Club Asoka

The purpose of Club Asoka is to develop interest in the ideals, philosophy, and teachings of Buddhism, to foster fellowship, and to participate in the welfare of the association and community.

Established in 1953 with 41 charter members under the leadership and presidency of Susumu Tomita.

Activities: Installation and dinner, Mother's Day Dinner, Scholarship Dinner for Leilehua Graduates, Annual Memorial Service, Club Asoka Year End Party, Annual Mochi Sale.

Notable Projects: Iraq and Afghanistan Project, Parliamentary Procedure Workshop, Rummage and Plant Sale, Sunset at Schofield.
